The law firm of Attig | Curran | Steel is a nationally recognized law firm and leader in the area of VA disability law.
The firm is about to open its primary office on S. Broadway in Little Rock, Arkansas.
From this office, we hope to offer a wide array support to the veterans of Arkansas who have been long overlooked by the VA.
Founding member Chris Attig knows, very well, the struggles of reintegrating into civilian life after the military. After leaving active duty in 1997, he overcame houseless-ness, went back to school to become a lawyer, and has been using the law and his law firm to change people's lives for the better.
Our mission is to provide Caring, Effective, and Efficient representation to those veterans who the VA has forgotten: Black veterans, Latinx veterans, indigenous veterans, female veterans, and veterans who identify as LGBTQ.
But we want to do more in our community; we want to help more veterans successfully reintegrate and use their veterans status to build intergenerational wealth and stability.
- We are already helping our neighbors in the Wright Avenue neighborhood with their VA disability benefits claims.
- We are working with the University of Arkansas's Bowen School of Law to start and grow their Veterans Disability Legal clinic, in which we are training the next generation of veteran's lawyers.
- We are paying top salaries and benefits to Arkansans who come to work for our firm.
We want to do so much more, though.
